Rocky Mountain Xtreme RC Racing is a club that sits at the foot of Pikes Peak. This is a great
place to get away and have fun while enjoying the wonderful scenery, and of course to race and
fly RC's.
We started out with a bang in January 2006, and have continued to grow since that time. We
currently run our AAIR racing series and AAIF flying series through the Widefield Community
Education and Recreation Center.
Our AAIR and AAIF events are held in 2 amazingly large Jr. High School gyms, located at Janitell
Jr High, and our Colorado Fast Track is nested in an amazing location at Aztec Motocross
raceway.
Rocky Mountain Xtreme RC Racing, races classes ranging from 1/8th scale gas, to the amazing
1/28th scale Mini-Z's. Our racing surfaces range from an expansive well groomed dirt course to
RCP Track, and we have expanded our RCP track inventory to include 9 large L track sets,
expansion sets, sweeping inside corners, and 45’s.
What would racing be without times and laps? We have that covered as well, with the use of the
Core Speedway timing system and AMBrc for all race events.
AAIF has been running now for 1 season, and turned out to be quite successful for the Helli pilots.
Plenty of room and flying freedom, away from the outside elements. We are looking forward to
putting together some great fly ins in the near future.
